With the partnership and the provision of the PS.SPEICHER grounds as the Bestplace, the area around the multifunctional hall on Kohnserweg will become the central camp & party ground – featuring its own beer garden and a large show stage. On both the Bestplace and the campground, the rule is: first come, first served. It is not possible to reserve spots in advance.

Stay
Einbeck attracts many weekend holidaymakers, so it is advisable to book accommodation early. Please note that rooms are usually only available several months in advance via booking portals.

Camping
On the campground, you have the option to camp independently with your own tent, depending on availability. The ground surface is compacted gravel, so a groundsheet and tent pegs are required. A camping spot near your MX-5 costs an additional €15 per vehicle for all three days. A total of 80 camping slots are available.

Camping essentials
Barbecuing is allowed; however, open fires such as campfires are strictly prohibited. Check-in takes place on Friday between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. onwards. Each participant will be assigned a space large enough for themselves, a tent, and their MX-5, with approximately 5 square meters per person. Groups of five or more MX-5s can form a camp after prior registration and may also set up one pavilion (3 × 3 meters). Only tents are permitted; motorhomes, campers, and trailers are not allowed unless the trailer is towed by an MX-5. Electricity is not available, and quiet hours apply from midnight to 7 a.m. Toilets are accessible 24 hours a day in the multifunction hall. Showers are available until 11 p.m. on Friday and from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. Please note that the showers are not in individual cabins.
Eat & Drink
Of course, you’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks. We kindly ask you to avoid producing unnecessary waste. Drinks at fair prices are available on the PS.SPEICHER grounds. In the new beer garden of the Camp & Partyground, we offer an extended selection of food and beverages until late in the evening.
On Friday evening, join us for a large BBQ buffet featuring a variety of grilled specialties and hearty side dishes. The price is € 25 per person. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet – perfect to start the day in good company. The price is €13 per person per day.
Depending on the weather, the BBQ and breakfast will take place either in the beer garden of the Camp & Partyground or in the multifunction hall. Pre-registration for both meals is required via our booking system, which will open in April 2026.
App
All essential information about the event can be found in our app, which will be updated no later than two weeks before the event. It includes a detailed program overview and all relevant details for your stay in Einbeck. This allows us to respond flexibly to any short-term changes while significantly reducing paper use.
To be fully prepared, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the app in advance. It’s available in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Trips
Both guided tours and pre-planned routes will be available. Registration opens around May 2026 through our reservation and booking system. If you prefer to explore on your own, you can also choose from several pre-planned routes – no scout required.
Additionally, at the info point bulletin boards, you’ll have the opportunity to offer your own drives. Interested participants can sign up independently, depending on availability.
Fun-Rallye
After the successful premiere, the Fun Rally will take place again in 2025, but in a more compact form. A total of 30 starting places are available. The rally is divided into two sections: one involves solving puzzles and tasks within Einbeck, while the other requires completing various challenges on a route around Einbeck.
The driving portion lasts about two hours, and the puzzle portion also takes approximately two hours. Arrival on Friday, a smartphone, and a co-driver are required for participation. The entry fee is 15 euros.
Show & Shine
Some owners put an incredible amount of time, love, and creativity into customizing and styling their MX-5. With our new Show & Shine Contest format, we not only want to let visitors vote for the most beautiful MX-5 of each generation, but also give every participant the opportunity to present themselves and their beloved car to the audience.
THE PROCESS
1. Application Phase
Participation is open to anyone with a valid ticket and a short application sent by email by April 30, 2026, in the respective category (NA / NB / NC / ND).
Each category offers ten entry slots. If more applications are received than there are places available, a jury will decide which participants are selected.
2. Presentation
On Saturday afternoon, each contest participant will have up to two minutes on stage at the party ground to introduce themselves and their MX-5. This gives all interested visitors the chance to get their own impression.
3. Voting
Voting will be done exclusively by all visitors through the event app – and only for the vehicles registered in the contest. The voting will be open from Friday, 10 a.m. to Sunday, 11 a.m.
4. Awards
The winners of each model generation (NA / NB / NC / ND) will be awarded on stage on Sunday.
Tourism
On Friday evening, you have the opportunity to participate in a unique guided tour of the old town, including a tower ascent. On Saturday, city tours will also be available. Additionally, we offer tickets for a guided tour of the Sudhaus at the Einbecker Brewery. During this tour, you can learn about the art of blue printing and discover the origins of the expression "blau machen."
Throughout the weekend, all tickets for the PS.SPEICHER, including the main exhibition and individual collections, will be available at discounted prices. These can be purchased directly on site without prior reservation.
